SolarEdge Inverters

SolarEdge's system features a power optimizer integrated into each solar panel, replacing the solar junction box and maximizing energy output from each module in the array through maximum power point tracking. This optimizer-per-panel approach also allows module-level monitoring comparable to Enphase and other micro-inverter solutions. With the monitoring handled by the optimizers, SolarEdge's inverter only needs to handle power inversion, making it less complicated and more reliable. As they are part of a complete system, SolarEdge's inverters require a SolarEdge optimizer on each panel.
