EcoDirect offers a comprehensive design and permitting service to help our customers keep their projects on schedule without dealing with the hassles of sorting out ultra-specific local permitting requirements.

As anyone whose solar project has been delayed because of unique local permitting requirements can tell you, solar design and permitting can get very complex. Not only does it require juggling state and federal requirements; your specific area may have some very specialized requirements.

For example, some areas are requiring disconnecting combiner boxes in new installations, while in others it is still important but not necessary. What happens if you get the wrong component and don't find out until you've gone through the whole permitting process and been declined, delaying your solar project for weeks while you get the right pieces?

What is included?

  • Data sheets for your solar panel, inverter, and any other applicable components
  • Site plot plan
  • Single line drawing
  • Calculations for ampacity and voltage
  • Full submittal package

Document California Solar Permitting Guidebook:
Improving Permit Review and Approval for Small Solar Systems

The application for the solar system had been submitted to the Roseville Building Department.

The clerks at the Building Department said that the plan that was submitted was of the best quality they have ever seen submitted! They were really impressed. They just said "Wow!!!"

Thank you for the great job on the plan.
