Details about the LSW-5 Wi-Fi Dongle
The Pytes Energy LSW-5 WiFi Stick enables remote monitoring for V-series batteries including V5, V10, and V16 models. The device plugs directly into the dedicated WiFi port on the battery front panel and transmits operational data via 2.4GHz WiFi to the SOLARMAN cloud platform for monitoring through the SOLARMAN Smart mobile application.
The stick collects battery data including voltage, current, state of charge, temperature, cycle count, and fault codes from the battery management system. Three LED indicators display operational status: NET for network connectivity, COM for battery communication, and READY for normal operation. Data uploads continuously to the cloud platform during operation.
Installation requires no battery configuration. The stick uses a plug-in connection to the battery's WiFi port. Setup is as simple as downloading the SOLARMAN app, creating an account, and binding the device serial number to enable monitoring.
The unit features water-resistant construction suitable for installation in battery enclosures exposed to moisture. When multiple batteries operate in parallel, only the master battery requires a WiFi stick to monitor the entire system. The platform supports remote firmware updates for both the stick and compatible batteries.
Monitoring displays individual cell voltages, pack temperature, charge/discharge current, SOC percentage, and system alarms. Historical data is stored for trend analysis and performance tracking. Multiple battery banks can be managed through a single account interface.
