Detailed Description

The Zephyr series solar attic fans are available in both 20 and 25 watt residential models with a variety of options to choose from designed for aesthetics, ease of installation, and solar panel optimization. Available in black, brown, gray, white, terra cotta, and natural zincalume finishes, The Zephyr series offers an energy efficient ventilation solution for any residential application.

Option: Thermal Switch

Zephyr series solar attic fans feature an optional thermal switch control at no additional cost. This switch monitors attic temperature and tells the attic fan to shut down when it falls below a certain range.

Option: Pivot Bracket Mount

For models with attached panels, you have the option of adding a pivot bracket. Designed for roofs that face east or west, a pivot bracket allows you to adjust the inclination of your solar panel to maximize sun exposure.

Setting the Industry Standard for Performance

Engineered and designed using only the highest quality parts and materials, all Attic Breeze solar attic fans and commercial ventilation products are manufactured with corrosion resistant zincalume alloy fan housings as well as stainless steel brackets and hardware throughout. Attic Breeze never uses plastic, which may degrade and crack over time when exposed to years of heat and UV radiation.

Attic Breeze solar powered ventilation products also come standard with the company's proprietary commercial-grade monocrystalline solar panel design. This unique design uses high-strength, impact-resistant tempered glass and offers better power output performance over a higher temperature range than products featuring either polycrystalline or multicrystalline solar panels. This technology allows Attic Breeze solar powered ventilation products to operate at high roof surface temperatures without the loss of rated power experienced by products with lesser quality solar panels.

Attic Breeze solar attic fans are engineered to withstand harsh weather conditions and offer decades of durability. Performance-tested to intense wind load pressures, these solar attic fans are rated for hurricane force winds of over 170 MPH and designed to endure the most extreme weather conditions on the planet. Third-party tested and independently certified for both Florida and Texas Windstorm approval, Attic Breeze products are real-world tested for the dependability you can trust.

Review: Attic Breeze Solar Attic Fan by L. Kepecs April 1, 2014
Reviewer: Lawrence E. Kepecs
Great company, great product. Heavy duty metal is self flashing. Features a removable solar panel if you wish to install the optional metal angle brackets. I had set my angle for the hottest time of the summer. Get it with the thermostat so that it's off for the winter, & on for the summer daylight hours.  http://melissasdish.wordpress.com/2011/11/16/lower_utility_bills/  I recommend installing 2 units for a 2 story house. Make sure all soffit vents going to the attic are open, & add additional ones if needed. Our ridge vent  didn't affect it. Get the brackets & thermostat with the unit. With radiant barrier, 1 unit substantially helped to lower my midday summer attic temperatures from about 130 degrees F to 112 degrees. Last week, I installed the second fan in the house attic, and re-purposed our 2 old whirlybirds, putting them on the garage.  At 4 pm on this sunny 75 degree day, the reading is 104 degrees in the garage attic with the whirlybirds, but 84 degrees in the house attic.
